My family are in the motor trade..but in the 15k-75k range where its the norm now for the price to be the price.

What kind of discounts can i expect to squeeze from a AM dealer or an independent on a used AM in peoples experience?

I'm looking to buy for cash most likely a DBS Volante which are circa £125 to £160k dependent on age/spec/mileage.
Squeezing a 155k down to 150 or less would make my man math more appealing smile

Cheers for any input

Marc

The problem I have with buying Astons is that when I'm in front of the one I want, my negotiating skills evaporate...

Last time buying at a main dealer there was no movement on the sale price, however there was 20% more trade in allowance if I took their finance. Which I did then paid it off.

Ive bought 3 from main dealers and there was always something available to sweeten the deal, but its hard to quantify until you ask them on a particular car, how good a sales quarter they are having, any marketing incentives etc. On a previous car I got a free service and a better than book price trade in.
