Wasn't this the "old" Flat 6 event?

Wasn't the old 'Flat 6' event just a copy of the old charity day we used to run every year before Covid? hehe

395 GBP for 3x15 minute sessions? Plus 60 GBP for each passenger? Wow they will be coining it in. bandit

The only similarity is the date and the location, it's different organisers who are planning something massive.

In my opinion the old Flat6 event, in recent years, has been lacklustre but I'm hopeful this will be the opposite.

I have my ticket :-)

Well, it's also a Porsche only event and with a track day happening at the same time, exactly as per Flat 6.

I haven't seen anything more offered than Flat 6 except a big increase in pricing to park in the same place that I did last year. I'm ooot.

Porsche just sent me the invite for Sunstede Silverstone.

To bring the family, which would people recommend?

I'd recommend the wife and kids. Maybe cousins if you are really close.

It was a complete waste of time and money. Very little track action, 3 very limited low key trade stands, and about 500 people. Advertised as something it really wasn’t.

And the organiser was a Reform supporter? Who'd have thought it.

biggrin

More than a supporter, a councillor. It is one of the reasons I wasn't interested in attending.

Wish I had know he was connected to Reform, I wouldn’t have bought a ticket.

C'mon Count Binface.

It seems this is the political slogan of the hour......Advertised as something it really wasn't.
