Some years back I was the proud owner of an Aprilia.

In the handbook it had the words "this vehicle is made of non-edible parts. Do not attempt to bite, suck or chew any part of this vehicle". I don't think it warned against drinking the fluids, mind. They sold the same model in the US, so at the time I put it down to avoiding litigation on that side of the pond.

Has anyone else seen frankly odd manufacturer warnings?

Not a warning sticker, but a notification that happened a few years ago on an Audi A5:

Those who are knowledgeable of the area will understand my disappointment when I found it wasn't true.

Anyone who needs to find the spare wheel in an Alpine A110 needs only to read the handbook:

I've only owned my A110 for two years and have never noticed that.

Mind you, the fact that my passengers complain about the comfort and have their noses pressed against the windscreen should have been a clue.

Loctite 319 Rear view mirror bonder pad thingy. Buried in the small print on the back. ‘ Not to be used on a Mazda 121’ but no disclaimer for a Fiesta Mk4…
Never did work it out.
