2010 DBS Volante ECU Failure and Key Issues
Discussion
I sent my DBS Volante in for service about six weeks ago. The roof had also stopped working so I asked them to sort that as well. There were no other obvious issues, the car was running perfectly. It has only just passed 17k miles.
The dealer has reported that the ECU has failed and needs replaced. As you can imagine, this isn't cheap but the kicker comes in that (because I don't have the original credit card with the key codes), I need two new keys as well. The keys are almost the same price as the ECU, each.
Anybody had a similar issue and found a way to resolve it without the need for two new keys? Thanks for any advice.
