BBC4 now. What is the point of this programme? We see beautiful Yorkshire countryside, beautiful Yorkshire villages, lovely singing birds... but do we learn anything about we see? Seems not; all we get is a 'comedian and actor' wittering on about herself. You can stay at home and do that!

Wasn’t aware of this but presume it’s similar to ‘Winter Walks’ a few years ago, which I really liked.

Suppose it shows how subjective these things are.

It is. Just got a shock as I love those programmes and thought I might be missing something. But this series is a repeat.

My fave was Jim Moir in south Kent.
