Less than two generations ago - what have we lost?
Discussion
44 years ago today the House of Commons met for an emergency Saturday sitting to debate the invasion of the Falkland Islands by Argentina. Listening to the speeches by politicians of the day, party leaders Margaret Thatcher and Michael Foot showed how politics should be. Are we ever likely to see grown up politics again?

Unlikely.
MSM is also different now. More interested in picking holes, intruding into their personal lives and knocking politicians down than supporting them and the Country.
And every voting idiot now has a mouthpiece via social media.
I've often said it, why would anyone with intelligence want to be a politician these days?
