I love a Class 37 but I agree with you, that Francois is beyond annoying to listen to and look at, really can't stand him, and they put him with another very irritating man as well, shame as my love of a Class 37 isn't enough to watch those two drivel on.

I hadn't heard of him until he was in a recent series setting out to be an astronaut. He's evidently on at least one spectrum, but he can't help that, and I found his unbounded naivety quite engaging. Louis Theroux speeded up 100x.

Yes, he is a bit quirky but that's his USP. Rather him than someone who just "wants to be a television presenter" despite no skills for the job.

Couldn't agree more. The fake personality works for standing on a platform frothing at passing trains, but for the Grand Tour it will get annoying very quickly. Not sure about this as it sits somewhere in the middle, will reluctantly give it a go at some point.
