All such headphones that I have tried so far have become uncomfortable after a short while because they only fit over the ears of people with quite small ears. As a tall person my ears are in proportion but nobody has ever said that I have large ears or that they stick out to an unusual extent.

So if anybody can tell me of a make and model that might fit me then please do so. thanks in anticipation.

Tried so far, many from the Sony range and Sennheiser HD280

It's not a problem I have as my ears are also in proportion but but I'm a shortarse skinny bloke but when I tried a load of headphones out before buying my B&W PX7s the Apple Airpod Max had by far the biggest cups of any I tried. Should be easy enough to find a pair to try.

Sennheiser 800s are huge, if these are too small I expect you are able to fly.

Jecklin Floats, if you can’t get on with them, paint them silver and indulge in some Cyberman cosplaythumbup

Im not sure I have particularly big ears but it did take me a while to find comfy headphones. I went Shure SRH1540.

I think the Sennheiser HD 380 pro have the largest ear cups of the headphones I've had.

I use Aiaiai headphones for DJing for the last decade and really rate them. They are highly modular, to the point of being able to get different size cups…. Maybe useful to you?

Normal day use I have Marshall Monitor 2’s, which also have a good sized ear cup. (My ears seem to be about 4 inches in height if that helps)

I do rather like the Bose Quietcomfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Over-ear Wireless Bluetooth ones we bought recently - even wearing my glasses they're not dreadful, but once I take the glasses off they're really rather good
