Time to upgrade - Xboxes...

Hi All,

with the launch of Forza Horizon 6 edging ever closer I think I need to bite the bullet and upgrade my Xbox One S to an Xbox Series X

I am a fan of physical media so looking at the full fat 1TB version..

Anyone seen any great deals out there? thoughts on potential price drops before the early May forza launch? Had hoped to see some cracking (geddit...) easter deals but nobody seems to have anything decent that i've found...

HotUKDeals or pick up a cheaper second hand one from somewhere like CEX? They come with long warranty now which is good

Prices of Xboxs and PS5s seem to be going up not down despite how old they are. I picked up one off eBay at a decent price to play some racing games with a steering wheel, seems to work fine as streaming media unit as well with built-in infred sensor for remote controls.

Price of certain computer components is going up so expect prices to increase not go down. Best to buy ASAP imo

They were still a lot more expensive new than I thought they'd be so I got mine about a year ago off Ebay

It came with 19 games, 2 controllers and was £200 + £15 postage.

Traded the games and a controller I didn't want or already had back to Cex for £92.

A brand new Series X on Amazon is £470 … but you can buy it for £20 a month interest free over two years.

Well as an update the alerts worked - A1 Tec deals dropped the price to 428 so ordered and turned up ready for FH6

Now do I get flight sim 24 on it too??

If you can find a deal I would. I've been playing flight sim with the game pad on my PS5 and its quite good fun despite it being quite tough to get the hang of.

The full price is a bit too much IMO.
