Has anyone any experience or feedback on these? We need to replace our oven shortly and I don't want to default to a like for like option without exploring other possibilities.

It's used entirely for reheat/ defrost purposes and we never cook from scratch using it however that option would be helpful but not essential.

Isn’t it called a turbo oven?

Good question. Trying to sort the nomenclature/descriptions from the mechanics/dynamics is part of the challenge- I know nothing about them.

Our oven runs more or less all day and there must be a better way, I'm just not sure what. We could just buy a cheap air fryer and see if it works - if it does invest in some better ones when it dies.

Merrychef is probably the answer but sounds like it’s fairly low volume?

I assume the equivalent is these https://www.nisbets.co.uk/catering-appliances/cook...

Like the machines they use in Costa to heat up your toastie.

For simple reheating / cooking in a small footprint, this is what you want-

Turbochef also to an equivalent.

We looked at these in depth a couple of years ago, but our requirements were much higher volume so went with a traditional convection oven in the end.

Thanks all, really helpful. The Lincat ones look ideal but will research the others suggested.

Depending on size you may want something similar to the ones in Ikea or Greggs - about a tall fridge/freezer size.
