Best way to train etc?...
These days I imagine it would be the car key side of things aswell as traditional locksmithing...
Can a decent business be made from it?...

I think these days being an Auto Locksmith is a specialism in its own right. Some of the kit is extremely expensive though.

Have a look on Youtube at the "Access Denied Car Keys" channel and "Fox Locks Auto Locksmith and Training UK" channel. They have some good "day in the life of an auto locksmith" videos as well as getting started videos.
