I viewed a lovely 2010 Vantage Roadster yesterday which had every box ticked EXCEPT heated seats; presumably it had been a summer only car. Unintended to use all year round.

The wiring is there I know and I found an old thread on here about how it was theoretically possible but has anyone actually done it..? New seats or fit the elements to the old ones..?

If it helps i have an N430 roadster with no heated seats, picked it up in January and drive with the roof down all the time just in haps and coats etc. Even the wife is Ok with it.

I've hopefully found an aftermarket option so will see how that pans out.

Often I find that it's brighter and drier out than I thought and I haven't got warm gear. That's when they're nice.

THe other option is one of those motorcycle derived heated jackets/garment perhaps?

Well it’s all sorted, quite a wait to get booked in but I now have very good 2-stage seat heating fitted by Team Impulse in Watford.

I much prefer the design of their button to the Volvo(?) one factory fitted. Rock back for warm (green light), rock forward for hot (red light).

£850 for the pair, they had the car for the day and have done a great job, you certainly wouldn’t know the seats have been out. Some contributors said the OEM Vantage seat heaters are lousy anyway so let’s hope this is an upgrade. And for those Roadster owners who miss them in their car, there’s now a tested solution!
