Towing two trailers

I'm a retired HGV 1 driver!

Just spent two months on the Algarve, driving the camper down through the EU.

I noticed whilst using Spanish motorways that there are a few double trailer outfits, that is, cab, 13.5m trailer, dolly, second 13.5m trailer.

Never spotted one in a service area so could not get an image!

Seemed to be limited to 80klm speed limit with a pair of amber lights at each end

Across the transport spectrum, tankers, logistics, reefers and I was pondering overall train wieght and axle weight limits, anyone who tramps through the EU have any more information for me, please?

I had no idea they were using them in Spain, I knew the Scandinavian countries use them (I drove one in Gothenburg plated at 60 ton from memory).
