Ignition fault - anyone had similar?

Cayman GTS 981.

Went to start car a couple of days back, unlocks fine with remote and dash lights up with 'Cayman' logo on right screen.

Turning key in ignition has no effect, dash doesn't change, radio doesn't come on, climate control doesn't come on - nothing.

Had RAC out today, checked battery, fuses etc - all seem fine.

Car now bricked and stuck in park with handbrake on!

Wonder if anyone had similar - or any ideas?

Maybe ignition switch?

Should come up with a message, but have you checked the fob battery or used the spare? Friends Audi wouldn’t start even with a booster and this was the cause.
