2008 (MY09) Vantage Aux connection issue
Discussion
Hi all
I purchased my Aston Martin Vantage (MY09 4.7 with premium audio and bluetooth) a few weeks ago and want to upgrade the stereo to include Android Auto. I have found a kit which looks perfect, but requires an AUX in.
Now, i have the updated system (glass key) and i can select AUX and iPod in the menu, but I don't have the correct arm rest so there are no Aux lead sockets and i've looked everywhere.
So as the software is there, i'm assuming the wiring is there (somewhere) but don't know where to look. I removed the armrest in the hope that the cables were underneath, but nothing. There was only a small 3 wired (green, red and black) plug which wasn't plugged in - not sure what that is??
Can anyone help? I want to (if possible) use the existing OEM system and happy to remove panels and interior to make it happen, but I just need some guidance on where to start.
