Anybody using it?
I am getting bombarded with ads for the stuff. Perhaps I inadvertently clicked on one in a past life. Colleague at work rates it, but was looking for a second opinion.

I was bombarded too, I was never going to buy but always enjoyed reading the comments saying how bad the products actually was, apparently the Trustpilot reviews are just as bad

Seems to be loads of people/companies buying in chemicals in IBCs and decanting them into smaller bottles for retail.

And who do you trust? Some random on social media who thinks anything is great? We all know half the people using AcheGram are swivel-eyed. biggrin

I tried that EZ car care stuff before they rebranded it. I think I bought it from Trago Mills on a passing holiday. The stuff is a minor step up from water and similar to the Demon stuff which is so weak and useless.

Those pump sprayer bottles they advertise with a bottle of solution are basically bought on mass from China and sold for an inflated price with their sticker on them. You can buy them from Temu for about £6 and they are identical. I've got several and they are great for wheels and APC or citrus pre-wash.

As for EZ, they are similar to many others and are rebranded. Check out https://www.innovationchem.co.uk/collections/car-c... They produce the actual products for these companies and you can buy direct from them.

I've heard others say this about the sprayers but haven't seen the exact same ones on Temu, similar ones but not identical. (I confess, I didn't look too hard!).

As for buying Hydro stuff, I haven't bought any and personally, I wouldn't bother. There are lots of 1 star reviews citing issues with deliveries and complete lack of customer service. This seems to be a more recent thing.

Over on the DW forum, one of the posters has used them and found the pump sprayer to be fine but couldn't really get them to produce decent foam. As pump sprayers, they are priced at the premium end of the market and there are lots of cheaper ones around.

The chemicals look to be pretty generic and average. I see they have "new and improved" versions of the "Snow" and "Pre" so they are now mixed at 10:1. That's about average for the pre-wash product compared to citrus and APC type products, but it does mean you need to use a lot more Snow at around 9%, than you would if you were using Bilt Hamber Touchless at 2%.

I was tempted to try Hydro when I first saw the stuff but don't think it's worth it now. I see they are supplying via Amazon now, so if you do want to try them, I would order via that route to give a bit more customer service!
