Honda Fit RS - Any good

Hi all,
Interested in a Honda fit Rs 1.5. Love the look of the gen 2 up to 2013, or gen 3 2013 onwards.
Anyone own one ? is the gen 3 much better than the gen 2 ? Does the later model allow for running on the battery ? Ive read that the gen doesnt and just adds power to acceleration.
Both lovely looking cars. Searching around I just see the earlier gen 2 models.
