Macan S and Carplay

Hi, just bought a 2021 Macan S. It has Apple CarPlay working, but when using Google Maps the map only occupies the right 2/3rds of the screen. Anyone any idea if it can be made to cover the whole screen and if so how?

YouTube and everywhere else suggests it's a third party software install to do this.

Had the same issue on my 2019 992. Followed the process on this site and works perfectly full screen.

on my sisters bmw,if you push the google maps button again in the shortcut bar then it puts maps onto full screen
