CSCS Supervisor Gold Card NVQ

Hi everyone,

I seem to have stalled a little bit in my role in highways.
I have my SSSTS and SMSTS and in thinking of putting myself through the supervisor NVQ to get my gold card.

Has anyone done this? Is it worth it?

My plan is to try and further myself without having to wait for my company to say yes and also I don't want to be essentially held to a company because they pay for qualifications.

It seems to be a bit 'dead man's shoes' here where I'm waiting for the guy I work with to retire before I move up.
