hopefully this does not break the rules of this forum.

I am updating the Beermountain website and trying to get all the campsite info up to date.

https://www.beermountain.com/p/camping.html

I would be most grateful for any additional reviews of any of the site, any corrections and other observations.
After missing the race for a few years and all the changes at the circuit the site got a bit out of date.

Hopefully I can get it fully up to date and useful again.

Many thanks

I've used Hippodrome that last couple of years (having used Houx/Maison Blanche/Bleu Nord/Blue Sud over the years) and:

Camper Profile: Generally grown up and civilised.

Beermountain Special Award: Almost exclusive access to V&B Cave for probably the best selection on beers in town (before Sat).

Overall: Generally flat, well drained and civilised, just a bit of a walk to any action.

Security: The usual, with a slight advantage of being so out-of-the-way.

Toilets: Usual clean and tidy temporary blocks as other sites these days, just on the edges of the site so can be a bit of a stroll if you're right in the middle.

Noise: Very few camps playing loud music and those that do tend to turn it right down before midnight.

Atmosphere: More race fans than party animals

Pros: Peaceful and civilised, well drained site with a 'private' path up to the tram and access to the circuit via Epinettes.

Cons: Quite a long walk to any viewing spots. While campsite is good both wet and dry access is via the gravel race track so cars get either dusty or mucky driving in and out.

Close by: Tram/Mulsanne bus 10-15min. Houx entrance 5-10min.
