Integrated dishwasher - dead!

Went to switch on the Zanussi d/w and its completely dead - on/off switch does nothing. Remote switch on the wall is on and it worked perfectly when last used two weeks ago (I have been away).
Took the units plinth panel off to see if there is a visible plug socket underneath but alas no, the power cable just disappears up the back of the appliance so looks like the developer (the house is 7 years old) just fitted the sockets to the wall, below counter height rendering them completely inaccessible - so I can't check for a blown fuse.
Not really sure what to do next as the house is expected to sell in the next few days - maybe just order a new one?

Or do what the sellers of a house we bought did. I took a panel off the door and it was a broken wire which I repaired, so f
k em.Personally, I’d just tell the buyers the dishwasher has packed up, if they get sniffy about it then just offer them a £100 reduction in the cost.
I’d take the view that I had more important things to worry about in the last few days leading up to moving house.
They might be planning to change the kitchen anyway!

Yes this is true - and thanks for that. I'm mid move out at the moment and its the last thing I want to think about. All the kitchen appliances here are now 7.5 years old so the new owner budgeting for replacements isnt unlikely or unreasonable. Thanks for the input - I will speak to the owner via the agent and do the decent thing.
