2012 Vantage windscreen sunshade recommendations

My new to me 2012 vantage lives outside and in the recent sunny weather I’ve notice how hot the black of the leather dash and ski slope can get which has got me thinking about buying a sun shade for the screen.

Aston Martin offer one for the 2018+ model but apparently not for the earlier vantage, which I’m assuming this doesn’t fit?

I’ve seen a couple of recommendations fo covercraft and heat shield in America but neither of these appear to ship to the U.K. unless I’m willing to spend over $200 with them. If aston Martin offered one I’d probably buy theirs.


My question is what tailored solutions are U.K. owners using? I’d like something well fitting rather than generic and of a reasonable quality rather than a £20 Amazon special.

I have a sun reflector in mine from my ram3500..fits quite well…am keen to stop any more leather shrinkage…thy are not expensive..and well worth it..bought from Amazon.ca of course..

There's no need to spend a fortune on one that is 'tailor made' for your Aston. I bought one for £4 in a French supermarket and it turned out to be a perfect fit.

I just bought one from Halfords, silver finished both sides, fitted the previous 2009 Vantage and now fits in my 2019 Vantage. Keeps the interior much cooler.
