Engine failure due to oil pick-up pipe O-ring PLEASE READ!

I just thought I'd re-iterate the importance of checking this critical component on the S50B32 (for those who haven't read my project thread update). Mine was rock-solid and brittle. The pipe was loose.





Also the chain tensioner was done for. My car is a 2000 with a fsh and 120k miles.
