The Vintage Watch Company

Hi folks I’ve been looking at a number of brands of watches and looked at Vintage Watch Company, Burlington Arcade, whilst in London over the weekend.
There are a few Rolex watches I’m interested in that I’ve seen on their site and wondered if anyone on the forum had bought from them?
If so how was the experience, reliability of goods, price compared to general market prices?
Any information on the above would be appreciated.

I was reading their Google reviews very recently as I am searching for a gift for my father-in-law. The reviews were so bad that I gave them a miss. I’ve not come across such consistently negative reviews on Google before.

Solid rep, been there for years. Mate bought a Datejust exactly as described, came with box and papers, sorted a bracelet tweak on the spot. Prices are premium, no negotiation, but condition’s always excellent and you’re paying for peace of mind. Safe bet if you don’t mind the markup.

I personally wouldn't make a judgement based solely on online reviews.
While they can be useful sometimes , they are often full of either fake positive , or fake negative comments.
I often look at these Google reviews of businesses I have used for years, and don't recognise the business from the reviews.
I wouldn't trust reviews anymore than I would trust some "influencer", but unfortunately a lot of people just believe anything they see on the internet.

Strong pricing but... bricks and mortar backup, I guess!

Maybe give us a short list of anything you're particularly interested in?

I'd talk to Dom (not me) at Hackett Watches but lots of us here are into Vintage Rolex and can help with pointers, etc.!

But yesterday evening I’ve seen this, I think it’s beautiful and I’m aware of the brand.
