Indeed this week means 'spring sunshine' is now complete.
A bank holiday can never be dry, particularly early May.
Summer will be allocated a few days in late June and perhaps a couple more in August.
There will be one doozy Saturday afternoon in July when all the redheads go from looking like spilt milk to a spanked lobster, so that they can complain about how they burn for the rest of the year.
There is a fortnight of 'good' but not amazing weather in late August - check the return to school date for the exact start of that period.
Autumn starts on September 3rd with a good downpour and a wee breeze.
Thems the rules.

I've been holding off taxing the Lotus, despite the last week of lovely weather up here, west Scotland (the first since October), as I've been busy and had another car to use.
May the 1st, halfway through the DVLA process and the rain starts outside......
But your Lotus is made of plastic, with a galvanised chassis and a good dose of Toyota thrown in. What are you worried about?May the 1st, halfway through the DVLA process and the rain starts outside......

And the deep fried Mars bars can damage the paint.
I parked the Lotus immediately after the MoT in November and on the odd dry occasion been using the VED free 1800ES which is well protected underneath. Crazy I know. Just don't need two "classics", especially over the winter so saved my £30/month.
