People Named On Title Deeds

Does anybody know/can confirm if somebody else is mentioned on a title ded in a kind of 'interested party' sort of way, are they legally responsible for the property ?
Was told they might be and need to go back to check but was just wondering whether there were any solicitors who could confirm this ? Or is there a lot more to it than simply bring named ?
