Anyone have any experience of the EVEC power pair? Looks to be a 7kw charger with a tethered cable and a second untethered port, which advertises itself as being able to split the power between two vehicles, both getting 3.5kw ish. Now charging 2 electrified vehicles.

Have had a Zappi which has been flawless for several years, but in reality don’t use most of the features as no solar (and no plans to do so).

The PHEV needs a full charge daily, the full EV once or twice a week, but constantly having to shuffle them round the driveway to get one plugged in due to awkward location meaning can’t just relocate the charger, so this seems like a good solution.

Thanks

Do you need dedicated charger for the Phev?
We have Ev & Phev, the Phev only has 15 kwh battery though.
We have an external 3 pin, just been using that for a couple of years. Can fully charge it during the Octopus cheap window!

The PHEV doesn’t *need* a full charge daily. It has an engine.

Thanks
Had been using a 3 pin plug socket, but recently found the granny charger had incinerated its fuse, so keen not to do that again in a garage next to my weekend toy.

Well recognise the PHEV doesn’t need a daily charge to run, but electric range is pretty much my wife’s work and back, so electric running is preferred.
