Could someone explain to me the advantages and disavantages of the 3 proposals?
As I understand, there is the standard R set-up then the exige set up with lotus sport wheels and tyres, then the ohlins (which seems to be adjustable ). I don't know where put the Lotus sport suspension. Th question of the LSD seems to be resolved with the limited power of the car...

If it is possible I am thinking about the ohlins on a standard car to adjust the set up for road and track. As I want to do more and more track. Is this possible and /or making sense?
Thanks

LSS was the upgrade path offered on the S1 and S2 Elises. On the S2 it was Bilstein dampers with Eibach springs - IIRC 250lb f and 325lb rear...so not that stiff really. You can get Nitron 1 ways for about £1000 which are much better and have stiffer springs (you can put what you like on ) I run 400/550lb on my car now.

The Ohlins stuff is the official factory upgrade for the 111R and S2 Exige...they also do 3 way remote resevoir jobbies.

For 99% of owners anything more than 1 way adjustable is a waste...so most people go for Nitrons...which are fully rebuildable and if you get them rebuilt then you get another years warranty on them :up
