2015 Vanquish assistance
Discussion
Well, I'm a month in and loving the car. Just have a few questions.
Headlight switch has sticky buttons. What parts bin car is the switch from? Think its part CD33-11654-AA, and EuroSpares is £300 and whatever shipping they'll add on.
I think I have AMi2,
S12 version: 3105406KQ
BT version: HW05-SW03.03.44
Ul version: 7.11.0784
but under the boot carpet edges I have no SatNav box. Where else could it be? Wanting to update the software. (I've an aftermarket AndriodAuto box, but always good to have the backup up to date).
I also have a small foam rectangle, with a few bolts in it. Part number 4643-17c834-AA. Its something to do with the tow eye (which is just loose in the boot), but I can't work it out. Any help?

LHD - For a 2+2 Check behind the drivers seat - floor level, pull back the back seat vertical carpet, the nav unit could be there, pull open the plastic hinged cover, SDcard slot should be visible.

Sticky switch is from Ford era. Try Mondeo or Fusion around 2010. Check scrapyard first.
No satnav box under boot floor means you’ve got early AMi2 without navigation. No update possible.
Foam rectangle with bolts is the tow eye holder. Bolts screw into chassis rail behind front grille. Foam just keeps it from rattling in boot.

Can anyone post a photo of the towing eye stored in the boot with a foam block and four bolts? I have this, which as you can see has nothing in common with a foam block! If you have a coupe, the Garmin sarnav box is under the parcel shelf. Access is throught the boot. You have to remove the carpet on the vertical divider between the boot and the cabin. Garmin will be on the upper right (facing front of the car), just a bit to the left of the right boot hinge.
I'm not sure if you can insert an SD card with new maps without first removing the unit.
If you have a Volante like me, the Garmin unit is in the left side "well" in the boot inder a rigid carpet piece. The SD card slot is facing the front of the car.
