Closing the bonnet

One hand on the Porsche emblem or two hands, one on either side of the front edge of the bonnet?

Hmmm.....OPC Nottingham told me "hand on either side" otherwise the badge could work loose.

Personally I believe it to be bad advice given to me by the OPC salesman.

Just had a look, it's easy enough to tighten from the back in the unlikely event that it did come loose anyway.

Actually I wasn't. A good friend (P997 owner) advised me always to push down on the badge. The OPC salesman gave me contradicting advice.

Used the "hands either side of badge but low down on the bonnet" method on my Boxster & 3 911's - never had a problem.
Surely concentrating effort on one particular small area would be more likely to damage the bonnet than spreading the force out accross the bonnet using both hands ?
