Non electric pressure washer

Anyone bought or used one of the widely advertised pressure washers that claim to boost normal hose pressure by up to 15 times? Any good?

Unless its pumped you won't get any pressure increase...snake oil comes to mind.

Even the battery powered pressure washers don't produce much pressure or much flow so anything unpowered doesn't have much chance of being useful.

Seconded. I've got a battery powered Black and Decker power washer, as my parking area has no convenient water or power supply, it does the job of a hose, but the pressure is very low compared to a mains powered system. The pump jobbies I've tried have all been worse than useless, but then I've never spent more than a tenner on one

Do you mean the cordless gadget that JML advertise for £50 but you can get on Temu for £15?

I tried one for washing a boat. It can just about spray off soapy water at five feet but that's it.

Thanks fellas i'd pretty much assumed they'd be rubbish but no harm in asking.... I have two broken Karchers in the shed so will resort to a bit of DIY

Karcher I have found the little £15 elbows to be the weak link in the chain - worth buying two for the shelf, as the day you need one....... it is a frustration.

Sounds like a water-pistol / super-soaker! It's not going to be any use for washing a car.
