Driveway Sail Awning

Hi

Wanted to know if anyone has had any experince with installing a Sail Awning on their driveway to cover their cars?

Unfortunatenly, the council in my area wont allow me add anything permanent on my driveway. During the winter my carcoon goes up to protect one of the cars but wanted something to keep a convertible kinda protected during the summer months.

Something like this without the 10K budget

Not driveway specific, but we had a small (3x2m triangle) sail to use for shade in the back garden of our previous home. It was a faff to get the anchor points quite right to position it to avoid collecting rainwater in the middle, not a big problem as we only had it up in nice spells of weather. Obviously wind is an issue, it flapped around quite a bit in a gentle breeze so if it was up year round I'd probably be a bit more nervous about how well it was secured.
