Bluetooth Ear Defender Recommendations

Got an absolute shedload of thin board that’s going to need cut out and only thing I’ve found so far that works is the multitool.

Of all the tools in my collection, only 2 make me uncomfortable with just using my earbuds: my petrol strimmer and the multitool.

So, over to you chaps. Looking for comfortable ear defenders (for a big head ) that are bluetooth so I can listen to music or podcasts etc.

If at all possible, something Amazon Prime or Screwfix/Toolstation. I’ve left this a bit late in the day to sort out before needing to do the work this weekend…

Have you tried just wearing a five quid pair of ear defenders over your buds? Might save you a fair bit.

These are what I wear when I want Bluetooth: https://www.shop-sks.com/gb/3M-Pro-Protect-with-Bl... - they have the advantage that you can converse with people easily without taking them off and make/take calls.

The audio quality isn’t great when it comes to music. A pair of Optime 3’s and earbuds would almost certainly be better if you didn’t need to interact with other people or take calls. Gel ear pads can be bought for some defenders and they make them very comfortable.

No can do unfortunately. It’s been used for movement joints in screed so I have ~1inch protruding that needs trimmed. Guys that did the pour said just to cut it with a knife but my Stanley isn’t coming close to slicing it.

Circular saws are out the equation as effectively I’m trying to flush cut to the screed surface.

Went for the Optime 3s as I don’t need to communicate (kinda like that I can be left alone!) and the Pro-Protects were nearly a hundred quid shipped whereas the Optime were only twenty on Prime.
