Kitchen door/cabinet colour change spray - Anyone done it?

Our kitchen is only about 5 years old, but we are thinking of changing the look of the room and also the kitchen colour.
At present it is a very dark blue/ink colour, and we might want to change it to a light grey or cream.
Has anyone had their kitchen repainted by one of these professional companies who offer such services?
If so, were you happy with the finished result? Any advice? Any downsides?

The DIY route could also be an option here.
Before we replaced all the doors and drawer fronts to change the overall style of the kitchen, we did our own recolouring of the old wood veneer ones simply by taking them down, giving them a *good* clean to remove all traces of oil/grease/etc, then painting with gloss white.
Aside from a couple of barely noticeable (and easily rectifiable if we were after perfection) areas where the paint had dribbled down the side of the doors leaving a slight ripple once dried, the results were impressive given the relative lack of expense in terms of materials or time/effort, and the finish held up well in daily use for the handful of years before the complete replacement mentioned at the start.

Yup, my wife... inspired by her sisters new dark blue / many thousand pound of Wren kitchen, decided to paint ours a weird dark green colour. Took about a day and a couple of coats of chalk based paint. Important thing as above, make sure it's spotlessly clean and free of any trace of grease. It's holding up well, couple of chipped on some leading edges because kids... but for what it cost compared to replacing the doors, it's fine.
I won’t be doing it DIY… it would be a right mess if I did it

The marks are really obvious with it being very dark, which is one of the reasons why we may repaint it now. The chips and marks show up as the white primer underneath on all the kitchen parts that are painted. The doors are fine as they are foil wrapped or whatever the factory finish is.

I tried a hair dryer to smooth it out, unsucessfully.
We got a company in Sunderland to respray. They took the doors & drawers away on the Tuesday, returned on Friday. Job's a good 'un.
Refreshed the kitchen (we did a little bit of wall painting to match). Importantly, the other half is pleased with the result.

There’s a company locally to me (Cumbria) who do this work, and I have to say the finished result (at least in their completed jobs gallery on Facebook) looks very good.I tried a hair dryer to smooth it out, unsucessfully.

I was suspicious as to how well the paint sticks to the foil doors and drawers, but I assume they have all that worked out.
