DB9 2005, when it's been driving the steering wheel starts becoming a bit stiffer and starts squeaking when turning.

It feels like the steering column or something rubbing on it.

Anyone had anything similar?

Cheers

Did you check the steering liquid level?

Yes!

I've looked on YouTube and it suggested the boot at the bottom of the steering column by the pedals - use some silicone spray etc. Maybe try that?

However, "my" squeak seems to be just behind the airbag i.e. on the steering wheel area. Sounds like something rubbing where it shouldn't. Not the end of the world, but if anyone has a solution I'd be grateful!

(V8 Vantage btw)

I was in the middle of a 3500mile drive around Europe when the steering wheel started to squeak from just behind the airbag, I just sprayed some silicon spray between the wheel and the steering column shroud and wiped off the excess, that as 3 years ago this month and hasn't squeaked since,
