Hi
Regarding your Porsche can you confirm if the vechile has the original clutch and exhaust. Regarding the IMS bearing has this been changed and do you have the engine number to confirm single or dual bearing. And finally has any bore score test been completed even though this is the safer engine.
Many thanks.

Hi.

The engine number is 66Y07834.
The car has the original exhaust and clutch I believe.
The IMS and RMS have not been done. We had advice on this when we bought it and was advised to enjoy the car and get them done at the same time when the clutch needed to be renewed.
We bought the car from Classic Motor Cars and they did a bore scope as part of their preparation for sale as informed by their Porsche specialist and the director Mathew. Although we did not get any paperwork for that.
The car uses no oil at all and we have no reason to believe they did not check. It drives like new.
Hope that helps,
Regards,
Colin.

Thanks for your reply Colin.
Another couple of questions
Has the car to your knowledge had any paint and or ceramic coating, or under side protection.
How long have you owned the car?
And apart from the few stone chips and slight crack in paint on the bumper, is the bodywork and alloy wheels rust free and unmarked.
Thanks

Hi.

As far as I know it has not had ceramic coating etc. only me polishing it regularly. Beads well when washed.
There is no rust at all. The paint looks great. You can see it best on the photo with the hard top on, where it is inside under lights.
We have had the car almost a year.
The underside has not been treated but is in good order. No rust whatsoever on the body, top or bottom. Just the usual crud on the fittings shown in the pics of the underside.
It’s not concourse, but I’d say it’s in the top 1%.

Apologies, forgot to respond to the wheels question. They are mint and have brand new tyres fitted 1000 miles ago.

Colin
Looks like you've put less than a 1000 miles on the car in the year of ownership.
Can I ask reason for sale?
Thanks .

The mileage is going up a tad. The suns out. 24k now.
Selling due to a change in circumstance. Absolutely nothing to do with the car. The car is an absolute dream to drive.
I am not in work tomorrow so an open offer to anyone that wishes for their mechanic to inspect the car.
I am available all day.

Regards, Colin.
