Hi guys, I need to drain old fuel out of an ST1300. It has obviously the main top tank and a pipe that connects to a secondary tank underneath it, I think with pump and sender in it. As I want to drain all old fuel out i am worried that If I was to insert a pipe or somehting into it to suck out I might end up doing damage to the sender etc.
I was going to try to find where the pipe goes into the engine area to enable me to totaly drain everything but its tignt in there and dont know which pipe is which. Can anyone point me into the right place with a pic if possible please .............

Siphon the top tank.

Lower tank - disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connector.

Remove the fuel pump assembly and siphon as per the top tank.

I think the best fuse to pull is the 10A F/I FUSE (Fuel Injection/Fuel Pump) located in the main fuse box under the seat.
