I know this might upset a few professional hand-wringers and pub armchair finance experts, but I typically stop in the Starbucks next to Wendy’s and BK on my way up north to visit relatives.

this is where said hand wringers get on their soapboxes to tell everyone that they make better coffee or burgers than said institutions, which is a fantastic idea if I was at home and not many miles away.

It's not your typical Services layout, more a collection of stand alone shops and a petrol station around a small road and roundabout. There is a Brewers Fayre carvery there too. It's called Brampton Hut by the locals.
