(2015) 208 GTI 'Engine Fault' - no boost

Just brought a 10 year old face-lifted 208 GTI with the better Prince engine. After flooring the car a few times I get a 'Engine Fault' dash warning and get no / barely any turbo boost. This obviously didn't come up during the test drive.

Digging around with interweb there could be all sorts of problems.

Is it worth persevering with the car or should I reject it?

Did you buy it private or from a dealer?

If private , I think your probably on your own.

If you got it from a dealer and you are pleased with the rest of the car, I'd give them a chance to fix it, before I rejected it, It could be as simple as a loose hose or a split pipe.
