Where is the meeting old friend thread?

By chance, I recently met a guy I worked with 30 years ago. We worked together for a couple of years and got along really well but didnt keep in touch when he moved on. But he did keep in touch with another guy we both worked with - that's how we ended up meeting again. To put in in perspective, I'm 61 years old

I wouldnt exactly say I was nervous about seeing him but I did genuinely wonder how we would find each other and get along. In short, it was good fun but almost underwhelming. I'm probably using that word incorrectly but I suppose it was just the case that since we got along well and were friends 30 years ago, the same was still true. Being honest, I've not idea when I'll see him again though - another 30 years when I'm 91?
