I thought I was lucky enough to be one of the first to have an IX3.
As with all new cars often it is the software which causes the issues.
In 2 weeks the car has decided to turn off its Bluetooth and now does not like charging.
We have a new Andersen charger and are on Intelligent Octopus. For two nights running it has charged and then stopped with an AC charging failure at 70%. What a pain. I have had EVs for 8 years. Maybe leaving Tesla was a mistake.
Going to have the boring to and fro with the dealer and leasing company now.
I am not paying for a 500 mlle range car which struggles to charge past 310……
Maybe an update will solve it.
Elon does software right though,
Let’s assume it is just teething troubles.

Needs to be sorted but it's not catastrophic don't most people charge to 80% so it's a 45 mile delta, early adopters are often the beta testers.

Yep, just wanted to get it to 100% to see. 80 % will be the norm. Agree on the beta test.
Car gave us whiplash today with an auto hazard brake on a windy road…….

Have to say the Tesla just worked…….

That sounds like a nightmare. Classic early adopter pain. Software glitches and charging stops at 70% is a known issue on some iX3s check the BMW forums. Dealer will probably flash an update. Tesla definitely has the software lead, but give it one more update before you ditch it.
