Couldnt find an existing thread about this game, but seeing as it s coming out at the end of the month I wondered if anyone else was planning on getting it, has pre-ordered it, etc?

According to a preview i've seen, once you get into a gunfight it's a much better shooter game than Hitman is, but the stealth bits are pretty similar. Looks and sounds superb, i've heard some mutterings about there being £8 cashback if you buy it through the Microsoft store as well, but i don't know the full details about that

I’m getting it, hoping it’s a big success too, I enjoyed the bonds on ps1 + ps2, can’t believe we haven’t had a bond game for this long.

I know! I think the last I played was QOS on the XBox 360, which was only ok ..

It's on my radar for sure but, if it turns out to be a hitman game with a 007 theme then it won't be the game I'm hoping for - I never really got on with the hitman franchise. I will probably wait for the early reviews before I decide.

Me too, just started training. No skipping the cutscenes with this one. The title sequence is superb.

I know its bond, and the hype is maxed but a reported 14 hours playtime. Is that true? Or just avoiding side quests?

Is it good? Im trying to justify if it's worth full price.

I tend to gravitate towards games 50 hrs runtime if im going to buy when first released. Otherwise ill wait 6 months and pick up on an offer.

Having seen a few reviews now, I think I'll probably treat myself this weekend. Was a big fan of the uncharted games and this seems to have the same cinematic vibe.

Missed this thread! I've literally just played the opening up to when you start the training but it's already brilliant. That opening was great, I stayed away from it online and am glad it did. Need to relisten to the theme song as it's very different to what I expected.

I've bought it now to take advantage of the £8 Microsoft cashback but it might be a while before i get round to playing it. Looks as if it'll be really good once i do start it though

I’m about half way through the second ‘chapter’ now and really enjoying it so far -
Love the small details like how Bond brushes his hand over surfaces as he walks past, or how the Aston in Malta is held together with duct tape and cable ties

Had my first go at combat as part of the training section and despite being all thumbs (having a yellow flash meaning you press the blue button on Xbox was messing with my head) you still manage to look exceptionally cool no matter how badly you're getting beat up Loved the way the whole intro has played out tbh, this wouldn't make a bad film at all.
