Banned for noise ?

A decent write up for the car,

It’s Biblically quick but does lack some mechanical grip.

When you consider the Artura GT4 runs 265 tyres up front you know the 765LT is under tyred for serious track use

It was running PS4S’s. A decent road tyre but compromised for the ring. Sounds like he is going to have another go on semi slicks.

Exactly this. The tyres were wholly unsuited to the car. MC rated Trofeos would have sorted that.

He usually has the owner with him in the passenger seat, but he does seem to be a very good driver.

I think all mclarens are under tyred for track, I noticed recently on a track day a new gt3 rs runs 275 fronts, the 570s/600lt only has 225's and 720s 245's. Seems a lot of mclaren life track users in the USA put bigger tyres on with much improved lap times

That helps a lot. I lived on a brilliant, twisty coastal road for the best part of twenty years and no one and I mean no one could sit with me on it.
I’m not a fan of the ‘ring but I wouldn’t mind a couple of laps with Misha.

It was also a high mileage car in the video, if I remember correctly.
