..the standard home and garden ones? I have a K5 but I reckon it is on its last legs and from experience of owning different types of jet washers they don't last forever so just wondered if the extra cost of Karcher's Professional range was worth the extra £££?

Thanks

edited to add - the accessories are crazy expensive for the Pro range!

I got a K4 for around £95 - on their outlet site - it's night and day better than the entry range - the outlet site often has some deep reductions - might be worth looking at it while your K5 continues?

A more expensive pressure washer with brass components inside instead of plastic will last longer. Years ago I was daft enough to spend more and bought a Kranzle. 18 years on it’s still going.

If you can spend a bit more and get up the Karcher range, I expect it’ll last. If it’s like Kranzle, you’ll be able to service and repair it, rather than chucking it away.

If you're in the market for a new machine, check out the Nilfisk range.

They currently offer a 10 year warranty if you buy direct from their own web shop.

Also worth looking at Ava. They are easily serviced by the user, come with a long guarantee, take Karcher attachments and are well designed. I replaced a Nilfisk with Ava. IMO the Ava is much better.
