Agreed with them about the nonsense of forming a tunnel and applauding substituted players off the pitch. Self-indulgent crap.

Yes, I didn’t like Shearer cutting off Kelly mid-sentence in last night’s MOTD. Thought he came across as grumpy the whole show TBH, perhaps it was because Sunderland finished above Newcastle. Rooney wasn’t giving much at all in the way of sparkling, articulate insight; I just don’t think he’s a natural at football analysis and punditry. The Beeb obviously thought so when they signed him up though, I wonder if they’re regretting it.
