Great tactician and motivator who could do it at any club or just good at spending billions of £££'s to achieve success?

Maybe a bit of both?

I think City fans may have to brace themselves for what comes next.

They've got some pretty big players who are serial winners that are leaving at the same time and that experience is vital in the dressing room.

Maresca will need to hit the ground running if they are to think about going for the league again, if they get stuck in a rut has he got the same skills as Pep to go on that winning run again.

They won't match his trophies, but they'll be winning an average of 1 a season every year I bet.

They will be fine for as long as they are allowed to continue to cheat.

On the plus side I can't see them ever celebrating the glory of having avoided relegation on the final day of the season wink

Before Pep arrived, appointments were made to set up the structure of the non-footballing side of the club. Txiki Begiristain as DoF and his team. Any new Manager has to work within this structure, so hopefully it smooths the way and filters out any of those managers that arrive at a club and think they need to change everything.
