serviceing cerbera

I have recently bought a 4.5 Cerbera, and will need to get it serviced before to long.Can anyone recommend people in East Kent, (I live in Deal)I also think the car is running v hot which i know they do, but when at lights it hits 110 is this normal?
The car also has just started to feel like its missing, can i take this to a local garage/specialist sports car outlet to check it out? Any small specialist in east Kent please.

Dream Machines have a good reputation... and it's a trip over the water to Essex, but I'd recommend Leven in Basildon (they have a courtesy car)

110 does seem too high.

Mine usually hangs at around 95 to 98.

Are the fans cutting in and have you checked the water/coolant.

Also is your number plate flush to the front of the car and covering a large portion of the intake splitter?

I haven't seen past 100 degrees yet including some crawling through town traffic. Has it got the right level of coolant in? How many miles and months ago was it last serviced?

I used to see 110+, until joolz laid his hands on her, then it was strictly 80-90.... he put something in the water too... said it helped... cant remember what it was now

I keep saying this. The capilliary tube is tie wrapped to the water rail under the driver side airbox. If you re-route this away to a chassis rail or similar then your temp will read normally.

If it isn't tied to the water rail then yes it reads too high. Check the simple stuff first.

I keep saying this. Don't do anything till you get your wife to stick her finger between the fan blades at the front of your car.

Start your car and sit in it watching the temperature go up.

When your wife screams the first fan will have come on. At that point compare what your dashboard says to the 92 deg (think thats right) that the ECU is sensing.

If they're the same 'you have a problem huston'.

I'm glad you keep saying it speed 8 as being new to the forum, its the first time I've seen it.
