The world s Ferraristi must be collectively shaking their heads in disbelief.

Not an automotive channel, but more a sci/tech channel, but Cleo is a very good presenter and interviewer and this video just popped up on my subscriptions, and it is about the new Ferrari Luce and she is talking to the designers of the car, a very informative video I found.

the top gear video popped up and I thought it must be a joke / 1 April etc. this is beyond horrible imo
I wonder if the ferrarichat guys are telling each other how awesome it is, or if even for them this is a bridge too far

Right chaps, I think it’s safe to say we need to buy up the good stuff now before the price rockets. Let’s be honest here, this thing just pushed up the price of proper Donkeys , designed by proper Italians, by several grand.

No they are not.. it has come as a complete shock. Now people will understand why the recent massive upswings in the back catalogue are taking place. DeejRC is right, but donkeys are no longer donkeys, this abdomination has them all looking like museum pieces. The Lewis Hamilton signing, the Jonny Ive signing and now this, John Elkann, Benedetto Vigna and Manzoni needed to be removed immediately. This is a national disgrace what has happened to Ferrari. Luckily I m out of my Ferrari shares, because no doubt the shares are losing 50% from this point. Fuming with this and will be handing down my museum pieces, not selling and not entering a Ferrari SalesRoom again.

If you think the hybrids have dropped like a stone, then wait for this to hit the S/H market…

Mind you it might hold some value due to extreme scarcity lol!

I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I am trying to be open minded, but all I can think is that this interior is an abomination. This will look dated by next week.

A Ferrari interior should make you feel special just sitting in it. It should feel like a 200 mph car when it is going 0 mph. This just looks like ... a car. Any car.

I have never understood the praise Jony Ive gets for designing the iPhone and IPad - they were hugely successful products sure, but their design was dictated almost entirely by their function; it's just a flat rectangle with a screen. There is a reason almost all smartphones look basically the same, because there is really only one way to design one. You get him to design a Ferrari and apparently you get this.

Seems inside the factory there is genuine surprise by the negative reaction on the top floor.. on the production floor they are seriously concerned for their jobs, they are beyond raging what has been happening to their car company. Heads will roll, hopefully top level. I knew Luca leaving was a tumultuous day but in hindsight it was way larger.

I am genuinely astounded that anybody involved with the design of that thought it was OK.

Take the badges off, and I'd guess Daewoo / Hyundai - even Jaecoo.

It's genuinely shocking.

From the photos, I can't decide if this is merely godawful or much worse !

Or is it pure genius, so that when you see it in the flesh, it's wow, wow, wow :-)

Hideous looking thing. I won't even credit it by calling it a car.
