I’ve been following the development of their 1/16 Burrell traction engine on Facebook and it really appeals.

All 3D printed and I think it looks fabulous.

They’ve just released a YouTube video showing assembly and it looks good. Looking forward to seeing a painted version, you’d need a decent brass paint!

Think I saw it’s £299.99 so a hefty investment but would be tempting to have a decent steam model that doesn’t weigh a ton.

Not really my subject, but a great looking model, £300 doesn't seem too outrageous if it's something you want.

Yeah that’s how I feel. Not tons of money but well built, it would be a cool looking thing.

Steam isn’t really my thing either but I do love that 3D printed models are opening up some interesting new subjects smile

And the crispness and depth of detail massively benefits from being printed from a scan of the real thing.
Wonderful to see a hope it sells well but I'd not be confident in hitting all the natural metal finishes lots of bits n bobs will need!

Looking forward to seeing one built...bet there'll be loads at Telford!
