The second Rik Mayall Comedy Festival runs from Friday 29 May to Saturday 6 June 2026.

Comedy is a very subjective thing, there are some things I find funny and folk look at me as if I'm odd. Rick Mayall is one of those that I have never been even mildly amused by. Ade Edmundson another. i'll add Sarah Millican, Rosie Jones to that list.

I think you may be unique in placing Sarah Millican and Rosie Jones in the same category as Ade Edmundson and Rick Mayall.

I struggled to limit my selection of my top 5 comedians last week. Had about a dozen I thought brilliant.
